I know, I know. You’re not hungry, you’re bored, but you NEED to eat something. At the same time, you don’t want to feel guilty for snacking.

Contrary to popular belief, you are allowed to snack (there are even health benefits for snacking!), as long as you are mindful of what you put in your mouth.
Here’s 10 healthier snacks you can easily get when you are bored at home or *cough* at work. Satisfy that “itchy mouth” of yours with these guilt-free treats:
1. Frozen grapes
Here’s why you should freeze your grapes: it takes you a longer time to eat frozen grapes than regular ones, so it’s likely that you will eat fewer of them. Not. Here’s the real reason: They. taste. amazing. And they are also very good for you! The phytonutrients in grapes decreases the risk of heart disease – they are also what gave the vibrant purple colour to grapes. Grapes are also excellent sources of manganese and vitamin B6, thiamin (vitamin B1), potassium, and vitamin C!
Not a fan of grapes? Frozen blueberries are a great alternative.

While your body requires iodine for the healthy function of your thyroid, too much is a bad thing. But damn, this dried seaweed is unbelievably addictive, so just try not to eat an ocean’s worth.

5. DIY Ice pops
Pour orange juice with some nonfat yoghurt and freeze them up in ice pops maker for a few minutes. There you have it! Effortless, fun, healthy and delicious snack — perfect for people who are feeling bored. Be creative, and play around with the recipe. But of course, remember you’re basically just eating what you’re putting into the ice pop maker!
A cucumber is actually 96 percent water! So that means it keeps you hydrated, curbs your hunger pang/ boredom pang (whichever) and it doesn’t add up the calories. Slice the fruit (yes, it’s a fruit) and sprinkle with lemon and salt for extra yummy-ness!

7. Cherry tomatoes
To be honest, i’m no fan of tomatoes. However, i adore cherry tomatoes! Red, plump, juicy and sweet – these little balls of goodness are best eaten raw. If eating them raw is uncomfortable for you, try drizzling some honey over them! Alternatively, you can stir halved cherry tomatoes into low-fat cottage cheese for a tasty and nutritious snack. And hey! Say goodbye to consipations and hello to glowing skin! 😉

If you ask me, nuts are too underrated. Countless of studies have found that nuts are associated with lower cholesterol, better heart health, weight control, and even a lower cancer risk! A handful of nuts daily can also pack your diet with protein, fiber, unsaturated fats, and important vitamins and minerals. Basically, it’s okay to go nuts for nuts! However, many still have the misconception that nuts are fattening and unhealthy to snack on.
If eating nuts alone is boring for you, mix them up — There are easily 10 different types of nuts out there! To add even more flavour, mix in some dried berries.

And of course… yogurt. Yogurt is a no-brainer. It’s well known for it’s nutritional values and it is tasty!
If you’re really bored, here’s something else you can do with yogurt while you snack on them: Mix 1 cup Greek yogurt with 2 to 3 drops of almond / olive oil and a tablespoon of honey; apply to face, leave on for 20 to 30 minutes, then rinse and pat dry.
Result: happier stomach and more radiant skin.

Okay, before you flip out, research has found that most people can curb their hunger pangs or sudden cravings by drinking water. They are saying: you do not want food, you are just thirsty.
